Misfortuna is an incremental roulette game, where the players (you) father owed the mafia a fortune (way too much money), then disappeared... leaving you to pay for his sins by gambling at the roulette table.

Spin. Win. Buy absurd buffs. Win bigger. Watch the numbers grow ENORMOUS, and most importantly, make sure the mafia gets its cut... or else.

*Note: The game saves everytime you return to the main menu!

The game is IN DEVELOPMENT, showing a tiny portion of the entire game we intent to make, but we LOVE feedback, and that's why this is out now! You can expect about 30-45 min of gameplay, an evolving soundtrack, a BUNCH of fun upgrades (with way more to come!). There will be some bugs and rough edges, but we hope you can see the vision!

Afterwards we would love to hear your thoughts either in the comments here or in our Discord.

The game is still young, and will be molded by the feedback we recieve, so have an impact and help us create an awesome game!

We are four recently graduated students (two programmers, one artist, and one composer), trying our best to make fun games, but we need feedback on where we are moving in the right direction, and where to adjust or change course completely.

Join our Discord and become an playtester and give us MUCH appreciated feedback, and help us shape the game into something amazing, we can't do it without you!

Press Kit

We might be a little too optimistic, but if you happen to be a content creator, we have made a press kit you're welcome to use!

Please also join the discord and share your video / Livestream, then we can watch, learn, and support you!

NO GENERATIVE AI WAS USED IN THE CREATION OF THIS GAME!

We like our work human, and we will never implement generative AI in the game!

Fun quick little game, took me 74 spins to pay off debt! My only criticism is that I refreshed the tab in the middle of the run and had to start over. The only menu options are "new run" and "delete run," but no continue. After I finished the game, however, the continue button appeared in place of the new game button.

Hi JJJoker57! Thank you so much for taking the time to play our demo!

I'm sorry it did not save for you, it does when you exit the game, but the web build cannot register if you f5, and thus it does not save, it's very annoying!

If you liked the game we would love a rating here on itch! It really helps us a lot <3

I love this game, only complaint is that I couldn't fully max out the board with even amounts of chips

Thank you so much for the kind words! We will look into it!

If you have not already, we would really appriciate a rating, it helps the algorithm a lot! <3

I really like the how steady the progress feels, and the spray of chips on a huge win! But why exactly can't you select a specific token to move around, it is annoying having my pattern broken!

We're glad to hear! And great feedback, I've written it down for our programmer to look into!
